Indian Dry Red Chilli (Whole) is a dried spice product of Indian origin, consisting of mature, naturally dried red chilli pods of commercially available Indian varieties. The product may vary in size, shape, colour, pungency and heat level depending on the specific variety and grade supplied. The chillies are carefully selected, cleaned, sorted and graded to remove foreign matter, damaged or deteriorated pods and other visible impurities. The product is supplied in whole dried form and is intended for human consumption, use as a spice/seasoning, and further processing such as grinding into chilli powder or use in food preparations.

The product shall be free from adulteration and shall not contain any intentionally added artificial or synthetic colouring agents unless specifically declared and permitted. The product should possess the characteristic colour, aroma, flavour and pungency of the respective chilli variety. It shall be packed in clean, food-grade, export-suitable packaging that protects the product from contamination, moisture and physical damage during storage and transportation.
