Dibutyl Phthalate

Dibutyl phthalate is an organic compound with the chemical formula Câ??â??Hâ??â??Oâ??. It can be used as a plasticizer for polyvinyl acetate, alkyd resins, nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose, neoprene rubber, and nitrile rubber.

Flexible PVC pelletizing factories, artificial leather/synthetic leather factories, cable compound factories, hose/film/shoe material factories.
In artificial leather production, DBP is explicitly added to the formulation, typically used in combination with DOP.
In cable compound production, DBP can be used to produce general insulation grade (non-high-temperature resistant) PVC cable materials.
Nitrocellulose coating factories, paint factories, and printing ink factories.
DBP improves the softness, stability, and adhesion of nitrocellulose coating films.
