Solid Unbleached Board (SUB) is a type of paperboard generally produced from unbleached chemical pulp. It usually features two to three layers of mineral or synthetic pigment coating on the front side, with a single coating layer on the back. In some cases, recycled fibers are incorporated to substitute the unbleached chemical pulp.
Known for its natural brown color and high strength, Solid Unbleached Sulphate (SUB) is widely used in packaging applications where durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness are key considerations.
Its strength and resilience make it ideal for heavy-duty packaging, while its eco-friendly nature appeals to brands and consumers focused on sustainability. This board is primarily used in packaging for products such as frozen or refrigerated foods, beverage carriers, detergents, cereals, shoes, toys, and more.
