Chemical Composition: Haynes 230 is composed of a range of elements, including nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), carbon (C), and aluminum (Al). The chemical composition of Haynes 230 can be adjusted within certain ranges to meet specific application requirements.
Mechanical Properties: Haynes 230 has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, good ductility, and toughness. Its yield strength is 685 MPa and its tensile strength is 1025 MPa. It also has a 42% elongation rate.
Thermal Properties: Haynes 230 exhibits good thermal stability, making it an excellent choice for high-temperature applications. Its melting point is 1305�°C (2381�°F), and it has a thermal expansion coefficient of 13.7 �µm/m�·K (7.6 �µin/in�·�°F).
