Almonds

Spanish almonds are popular for their quality and exceptional flavor. Its morbid texture and high oil content, provides essential amino acids and vegan proteins, that bring great nutritional benefits for gourmets and customers in general who value healthy lifestyle habits.

The Almond tree requires low maintenance, does not need excessive watering and finds ideal conditions for development in the dry climates which are the common conditions in Mediterranean regions where our Almonds come from.

Currently, in Spain there are more than a hundred varieties, with five defined as the most popular ones:

Marcona, Largueta, Ferragnes, Guara / Tuono, Comunas or from Valencia and Mallorca.

Of these varieties, the Marcona and Largueta are native. These two in particular are characterized by their hard, non-porous shell.
