Hydrochloric acid synthetic (HCl) is a colourless, aqueous solution produced by combining hydrogen and chlorine, both of which are formed during our on-site electrolysis process. As the ensuing reaction is exothermic, the installation used is called an HCl oven or HCl burner.

" The 'pickling' of steel is the major use for hydrochloric acid. Combined with small amounts of inhibitors, it dissolves the iron oxides formed in the process of hot rolling steel while minimizing any significant attack on the base metal
