Specifications Products : Ground Calcium Carbonate Use ; Industrial Use Color : White Form : Powder Packing Type : Plastic Bags Packing Size : 50kgs Purity : 90-99% Whiteness : 88 - 96% Ground Calcium Carbonate Calcium Carbonate is composed of the crystalline mineral, calcite, which occurs naturally in the form of chalk, marble, dolomite or lime stone. Chalk is formed by shells of Nanofossils that is a fine micro crystalline material. Other forms of calcite are also of biogenic origin but more compacted than chalk. Marble deposits are limestone changed by crystallization under conditions of extreme heat and pressure. In some cases, is process yields pure marble of exceptional whiteness. Good quality marble and dolomite deposits are available in the state of Rajasthan (India). High quality stones are manually selected at the mines and after its purity tests, these are sent to the processing centre. During the process the stones are washed to remove impurities. These stones are crushed and grinded as per the customers' requirement. The powder is further processed to micronize varying micron size up to 5 microns top cut. After micronizing it is subject to a process of unique surface coating with fatty acids or suitable coupling agents. The coated products become hydrophobic which increase the compatibility with polymers and other organic based Additives. The processing techniques at PEEKAY MINERALS ensures consistent quality, control of top-cut and average particle size and freedom from impurities at pocket friendly costs. On demand at PKM coated Ground Calcium Carbonate is made available. Coating with Stearic acid or Titanates coupling agent is being carried as per choice of end users. Application: Paints & Powder coatings Paper & Boards Printing Inks PP, LLDPE and LDP compounds PVC master batches and compound Features: Free from impurities Less Reactive Good dispersion Unique particle size Improved brightness and opacity Good Mechanical and flow properties

Known today as crystal sugar, ICUMSA 100/150 are widely used in large-scale baking and in the production of drinks and food. Formed by the crystallization process, without chemical refining, crystal sugar serves as a lower cost substitute in relation to Icumsa 45 sugar, known as traditional white sugar, even more because it contains less chemicals in its composition. Crystal sugar undergoes a clarification process, using sulphitation and chalk. It consists of fine, regular crystals, with high brightness and 99.5% purity, widely used in the production of carbonated drinks, liqueurs, juices, ice cream and sweets in general. Magnesium carbonate, with the chemical formula MgCO3, is a white, odorless, and tasteless solid that occurs naturally in various minerals like magnesite and dolomite. It is commonly used in diverse applications, notably as an antacid and drying agent in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. In antacids, magnesium carbonate helps alleviate heartburn and indigestion by neutralizing excess stomach acid. It also finds use in sports chalk and as a drying agent for hands in gymnastics, weightlifting, and rock climbing to enhance grip. Additionally, magnesium carbonate has industrial applications as a flame retardant and filler in plastics, rubber, and ceramics. Its versatility and safety in various contexts make magnesium carbonate a valuable compound with multiple practical uses.
Calcium carbonate is a white, odorless, and tasteless chemical compound with the formula CaCO3, widely recognized for its versatile applications in various industries. It is a key component of natural substances like limestone, chalk, and marble. In the industrial realm, calcium carbonate is used as a filler in the production of plastics, paints, and coatings, where it enhances product strength and opacity. It is also an essential ingredient in the paper and pulp industry for improving paper whiteness and smoothness. In agriculture, calcium carbonate is employed to amend soil pH and provide calcium to plants. Furthermore, it is a common dietary supplement for calcium enrichment and antacid medications to alleviate heartburn and indigestion. The diverse utility of calcium carbonate highlights its significance in both industrial and consumer sectors.
