Marcolex1 Moulding Casting Gel Powder for 3D Casting, a user-friendly and eco-friendly solution for various DIY projects, including 3D casting. This powder is designed for quick setting and easy demolding, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters.

Functions

After the addition of DA FUSION a liquid slag is quickly formed which is in direct contact with the steel surface as it rises up the ingot. This liquid flux dissolves the nonâ??metallic inclusions which rise to the surface, whilst providing a protective layer between the steel and the ingot mould. In addition a powdered layer is maintained on the surface which protects the steel from the atmosphere and prevents oxidation and temperature loss.

DAP is the most concentrated phosphate-based fertilizer. It is perfect for any agricultural crop to provide phosphorus nutrition throughout crop growth and development, as well as starter dose of nitrogen and lower sulphur.

It can be applied in autumn for tilling and in spring during sowing, as well as pre sowing cultivation. Dissolving in soil, it provides temporary alkalization of pH of the soil solution around the fertilizer granule, thus stimulating better uptake of phosphorus from the fertilizers on acid soils. Fertilizer's sulphur also contributes to the better intake of nitrogen and phosphorus by plants.

How It Works Casting Powder contains low melting constituents that instantly generate liquid slag, which penetrates into the gap between the mould and the solidifying shell of the billet. Casting Powder is added in small amounts and continuously over the casting duration. The melting of the Casting Powder occurs slowly in layers. Hence, the top surface of the liquid metal in the billet / slab / bloom always remains protected from the atmosphere.

Uses : Traditionally Casting Powder is used for bloom and slab casting. Now, it is used for billet (open) casting also as an alternative to mould oil for some plants.

Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) is a highly concentrated water-soluble phosphate fertilizer with the chemical formula (NH)HPO.

It is widely used in agriculture as a starter fertilizer because it supplies two essential nutrients: Nitrogen (18%) and Phosphorus (46%), represented as the standard grade 18-46-0. DAP is produced by neutralizing phosphoric acid with ammonia and appears as light brown or grey granular material. It is suitable for all types of crops and soil conditions and is especially effective in promoting early root development and strong plant growth.
