i) Physical condition:
a) Description: Free-flowing, Granules.
b)Particle Size: 90% of the materials shall pass through a 2.8 mm IS sieve and not less than 80% by weight shall be retained on 1 mm.
ii) Chemical Composition:
a) Total Nitrogen, Percent by weight: 46% minimum.
b)Biurent, Percent by weight: 1.5% maximum
c) Moisture, Percent by weight: 1.0% maximum
iv) Packing: Bagged in 50 kg net weight.
2) Specification of Bags:
The fertilizer should be packed 50 kg net in polypropylene woven bags with polyethylene inner bags. The weight of the outer ploypropylene bag and inner ployethylene bag should not be less than 200 gms. The bags should be stitched with a strong synthetic thread. Spare bags should also follow the same specification.
