1.1 Indoor Test Standards:The Transformer Test bench is designed to be used indoors to test Distribution and Power Transformers in the workshop which meet international standards IEC 60076-a11 parts.
1.2 The test bench should be able to perform the test below;
Routine Tests:
a. Transformer oil testing (including acidity, dew point, flashpoint, breakdown, capacitance &tan delta, dissolved gas analysis) Transformer insulation resistance testing
b. Transformer winding resistance testing
c. Transformer turns ratio testing
d. Transformer load/no-load current & loss testing
e. Transformer capacitance & tan delta testing Transformer insulation resistance testing, short circuit impedance & load loss testing Transformer, power frequency withstand voltage testing
f. Impulse voltage testing (including full wave, chopping wave testing)
