The robots will be mounted on a fixed overhead linear rail and must operate reliably 24/7.

3. STORAGE LAYOUT
3.1 Central Rack

3.2 Side Racks

4. ROBOT SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE (MANDATORY)

5. FUNCTIONAL REACH REQUIREMENT (NO FIXED NUMBERS)
The robot reach must be calculated and demonstrated by the supplier.
Each robot must be able to reach and operate in all of the following positions without collision:
5.1 Vertical Coverage
From floor level (0 mm)
Up to the highest usable rack level on:
- side racks
- central rack
5.2 Lateral Coverage
From the rail centerline, robot must reach:
- left aisle
- right aisle
Robot must pass over at least half of the central rack width
Minimum lateral offset: 300–350 mm
5.3 Oblique Access (Mandatory)
Robot must be able to:
- approach bins at an inclined angle
- pick parts from bins with partial front walls
Vertical-only picking is not acceptable
5.4 Supplier Obligation
Supplier must provide:
- Reach envelope
- Collision-free motion paths
- 2D/3D simulation proving:
- floor-level picking
- upper-level picking
- left/right aisle access
- oblique bin access
Offers without reach simulation are not acceptable.
