Product Name: Float Glass
Specifications:
Alkali-Resistant (AR) glass fibers for concrete NBR16941 requirements Parameters Comments: Class: II - Macrofibers Diameter (mm): ? 0,30mm the diameter of the element, thread or filament (measured by means of a micrometer with a resolution of 0.001 mm) should be considered, which is expected to remain individualized after the concrete mixing procedure. Composition of AR glass- Resistance to Alkaline Environment: minimum content of 16% of zirconia dioxide (ZrO2) The manufacturer or supplier must declare in which compatibility class the fiber falls, according to EN 15422. The compatibility of the fiber with the alkaline medium must be assessed according to EN 14649. Minimum quantity: three samples of 10.0g Length (L) and Developed Length (Ld): L or Ld ? 24 mm L or Ld ? 36 mm standard deviation ? ? 10% Linear Density: 2,0 ? 0,1 g/cm3 the manufacturer must determine the linear density according to the method described in ISO 1889. The density cannot be measured by the fiber, but by the base wire. The reported value must comply with the tolerances specified in EN 15422 Absolute Density 2,68 ? 0,30 g/cm3 Measured according to ISO 1183-3 Tensile Strength 1000 MPa – 1700 MPa ISO 3341 – Minimum quantity: 10 fibers Module of Elasticity ? 40 GPa ISO 3341 – Minimum quantity: 10 fibers Humidity: = 0,5% in weight Amount of free water that has the macrofiber.
