Yes, there are several countries that produce as well as import oil. Some of those countries are as follows:
- US: It has the world's largest oil production (approximately 13 million barrels per day in 2025). It also imports around 6 million barrels per day (Crude oil in 2025 till now).
- Canada: it is one of the top importers of US crude oil time. At the same time, it also exports around 5 million barrels of oil per day.
- China: In the year 2023, China produced around 5.26 million oil barrels per day, which is only expected to increase in the upcoming years. However, it also imports oil majorly from the US to meet its specific oil requirements.
