Several importers have commented that the Indian Saurastra variety is visually more appealing, soft to eat and has the right sugar-acid ratios. This makes it the best-eating Pomegranate variety in the world. Its only limitation is its size, which ranges from 200g to 350g. However, the weight of the seeds in a Saurastra constitute 55% of the total weight of the fruit while other varieties range from 35% to 40%. This also makes it a far greater value for money compared to any other variety in the world

Tagetes is a genus of annual or perennial, mostly herbaceous plants in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). It was described as a genus by Carl Linnaeus in 1753. The genus is native to North and South America, but some species have become naturalized around the world. One species, T. minuta, is considered a noxious invasive plant in some areas.
