Pink Fused Alumina, also called Pink Fused Aluminium Oxide, Chromium Aluminum Oxide, abbreviated as "PA", belongs to the group of artificial corundum. It's made from fusion of high purity alumina powder and chromium oxide in electric arc furnace. Because of its chrome content, it's a pink color material. Its main content is Aluminium Oxide(Al2O3), with little content(about 0.7% Chromium Oxide and about 0.3% Sodium Oxide(Na2O). Pink Fused Aluminium Oxide is a hard, tough, self-sharpening, low magnetic, coarse grits, pure and clean abrasive material. Compared to White Fused Aluminium Oxide, it has similar hardness, while better strength and cutting side. It's widely used in production of vitrified grinding wheel, resinoid grinding wheel, cutting discs, grinding head and other abrasive tools, also for sandblasting abrasvies, polishing, free grinding, cutting etc.
