Custom ADSS Tension Clamp

ADSS Tension Clamps are used to connect ADSS cables to poles/towers. Armored rods provide protection and cushioning for the ADSS cables. The special design of the prefabricated rods ensures that the tension clamps do not overstress the ADSS cables, thus ensuring a normal service life of the cable system.The ADSS tension clamps are made of aluminium-clad or galvanized steel wire.

Structure and raw materials

Unshackle - hot-dip galvanized steel. The shackle is connected to the reinforcing bar unit.

Twisted chain ring - hot dipped galvanized steel. Twisted links are used to connect the shackle to the thimble.

Sleeve - hot dip galvanized cast steel. The sleeve is inserted into the unclamp of the tension clamp to provide protection and connection.

Armored rod ----- Aluminum clad steel wire. Armored rods increase friction through a layer of granular emery inside the cable. The rods are shop assembled into four subsets to minimize misalignment errors and speed installation. The ends are bent outward to provide strain relief in critical cable departure areas.

Prefabricated Dead Ends - Prefabricated dead ends are made from hot-dip galvanized steel wire or aluminum-clad steel wire and are assembled in the shop into a subset with a solid layer of emery to increase the grip of the tensioning clamps while reducing lateral pressure.

1. Used for connecting connecting poles (towers) to terminal poles (towers), tension poles, or poles (towers) with line clamping angles of 25�° or more. Special specifications: 1 unit for each terminal pole (tower), 2 units for each tension pole (tower), and 2 units for each connecting pole (tower).
