Description
LYPA-208C is a special silicone polymer dispersed in LDPE, It is widely used as an efficient lubricant in XLPE cable compounds . When the dosage at 0.1 to 1.0%, it can improve the processing properties including better mold release, reduced extrusion torque , less die drool ; at a higher loading at 1-5%, It can enhance surface quality such as more slip, lower COF, improve abrasion resistanc....etc

Benefits
The linear structure of LLDPE will turn into a three-dimensional cross-linking network after
Silane-grafting and cross-linking reaction, in this way poor flow of resin result poor processing, and the compounds are easily adhere to the screw groove and mold dead corners and form dead mass which will affect the extruded cable appearance ( rough surface with little pre-crosslinking particles which formed at cross-linking step ), so effective lubricant like LYPA-208C added to improve the processing

How to use
Addition levels between 0.2~5.0% is suggested . It can be used in classical melt blending process like Single /Twin screw extruders, injection molding. A physical blend with virgin polymer pellets is recommended . For better result , pre-drying is recommend for 1 hour at 70-75

Storage Transport as non-hazardous chemical. Store in a cool , well ventilated place .

Shelf life
Original characteristics remain intact for 24 months from the production date , if kept in
recommend storage.

Silicone masterbatch lysi-08 is our new product which dispersed in pet with ultra-high molecular weight (uhmw) silicone content. Compared with traditional silicone additives, processing and weighing are more convenient, improving the appearance and surface properties are more obvious and the impact on the printing and coating are much smaller.

Features:
Add a small amount (0.3%f¼2%), can enhance the flow of the pet and processing properties, better mold filling, less extruder torque, mold release and faster throughput; addition level at 1% to 5%, can further improve the surface properties and appearance of the products. Including lubricity, lower coefficient of fraction, better abrasion and scratch resistance. Reduce the surface energy consumption, improve the hydrophobic and anti-sticky properties.

Application examples
For bopet film with excellent smoothness under high temperature, and do not precipitate.
For pet sheet to improve processing, appearance, scratch resistance and anti-adhesion properties
For wire-drawing industry, to improve the appearance and feeling of wire-drawing, reduce breakage, improve abrasion resistance, lower surface energy and improve the hydrophobic properties
For pet injection molding, to enhance the flow of the product, improve the product surface smoothness, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, faster throughput and appearance.

How to use:
Lysi-08 mixed with pet equally. Drying it under 110-150f¦ before use. Or dried lysi-08 mixed with dried pet equally first, than extrusion or molding.
Packaging and storage
The product is a non-dangerous good, paper bag, 25kg/bag, avoid high temperature and rain when storage. The usable life is 48 months from the date of production under the cool room temperature.
