Our dried split ginger is from naturally grown organic ginger root. Ginger is the underground root/stem (rhizome) of a perennial herb, which is used as a spice and as a preserve. It is utilized widely as a spice for pickles, candies, soups, teas, many beverages and as a medicinal herb. It can be produced in many countries but it does best in moist, tropical conditions like the West African tropical climate.
