Avocados

Avocado fruit have greenish or yellowish flesh with a buttery consistency and a rich, nutty flavor. They are often in salads and in many parts of the world they are eaten as a desert.
Avocados are nutrient dense with folic acid, healthy monounsaturated fats, vitamin C, K additional B vitamins, potassium and other minerals and fiber.


Apple Bananas(musa sapientum)

The banana is a lengthy yellow fruit found in the market in groups of 3-20 fruits, similar to a triangular cucumber, blong and normally yellow. Its flavor is more or less sweet, depending on variety, nutrition and eating.

Cavendish Bananas

Ginger

Ginger, zingiber officinale is an erect, herbaceous perennial plant in the family zingiberaceae grown for its edible rhizome (underground stem) which is widely used as a spice. The rhizome is brown with a corky outer layer and pale-yellow scented center. They have a pale, thin skin that requires no peeling, is very tender, and has a milder flavor. It can be grated, chopped for use. Mature ginger root has a tough skin that must be peeled away to get to the fibrous flesh and is usually grated, chopped or ground for use.
Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of stomach problems including motion sickness, morning sicknesses, colic, upset stomach, gas, diarrhea, Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS), nausea, nausea caused by cancer treatment, nausea caused by HIV/AIDS treatment, nausea and vomiting after surgery.

Onions

They have a thin, light colored skin and are available in yellow, red and white. Summer fresh onions are known for their mild taste and are often referred to as sweet onions. With their delicate taste, fresh onions are an ideal choice for salads or lightly cooked dishes. The structure and the mechanical properties of onions are important factors affecting their textural quality. The onion bulb consists of several layers of pigmented, papery scales surrounding fleshy storage scales that comprise an upper epidermis.
Packed with nutrients, onions are nutrient dense, meaning they are low in calories but high in vitamins. Sweet Potatoes/Red or white (Ipomoea batatas)

Okra (savannah pussa)

Okra leaves are heart sharped and 3-5 lobed. The flowers are yellow with a crimson Centre. The fruit or pod, hairy at the base is tapering 10 angled capsules 10-25cm in length that contains numerous oval dark colored seeds.
Okra is rich in vitamins A and C as well as antioxidants that help reduces the risk of serious health conditions like cancer, diabetes, stroke and heart diseases, is also a good source of magnesium


Peanuts (arachis hypogaea)

A peanut is a plant that grows pods containing seeds that are known as peanuts, you may think of peanuts as nuts, but they are actually legumes. Despite the deceptive name peanut, this plant is more closely related to peas than it is to almonds and hazelnuts.
