Our family's journey in incense making began over a century ago, rooted in the legacy of Attar Syed Khasim, our great- great-grandfather. In 1910, he introduced the exquisite fragrance of Kashmir Gulab, marking the inception of our enduring passion for crafting captivating aromas.During the 1930s, Attar Syed Usman, carried forward this tradition by establishing the renowned Mastana Darbar and Madeena Darbar brands.
YEAR 1950: The Birth of a Legacy - Mysore Islamia Agarbatti Company, Attar Syed Ismail, our great- grandfather, established the renowned Mysore Islamia Agarbatti Company, introducing the iconic Sukki Darbar brand. His commitment to traditional incense- making techniques and pure, high-quality ingredients quickly gained widespread recognition. This heritage brand became synonymous with authentic fragrance, setting the standard for excellence in the agarbatti industry.
YEAR 1964: The Rise of Maulana Agarbatti
Our grandfather, Attar Syed Abdul Hameed, launched Maulana Agarbatti, renowned for its signature Diamond Sugandh fragrance. He modernized traditional incense making by blending innovation with authenticity, setting a strong foundation for our family legacy.
YEAR 1990: The Birth of Himalaya Perfumery Works
Our father, Syed Arif Ulla, founded Himalaya Perfumery Works and introduced the Baba Flora brand, combining tradition and modern fragrances. His visionary leadership revitalized and expanded the familyâ??s presence in the competitive agarbatti market.
