The invasive bush is cleared as it prevents the proper replenishment of the groundwater reserves in an already arid country. The dense bush prevents the grasslands from being used as grazing for livestock and wildlife. The Blackthorn (Acacia Mellifera) makes up 80% of the packed product. The balance is made- up of Candle Thorn (Acacia Hebeclada) and Mopane (Colophospermum mopane). threatening the indigenous fauna and flora. The particle size ranges from 30mm to 90mm. Charcoal is normally packed in 20kg white WWP. It can also be packed in bags supplied by the client. This would include Kraft paper bags and polyprop bags.
