Robusta Coffee Today, over 90% of the coffee production in Java Island occurs on smallholder farms averaging almost 2,5 acres. Our commercial-grade Java coffee comes from the village of Semarang, where it was triple hand-picked. The natural processing of the coffee itself is actually the traditional processing sun-dried method. Nowadays, the natural process is not widely practiced anymore since it requires longer processing time, up to 2 months from the time of the picking of the cherries until the packing of the green beans. With a body as full as any premium coffees, Java Island can be downright syrupy. Despite a subdued acidity, the tastes are complex and intense, and a chocolate sweet flavor often holds earthy undertones. Notes of licorice may also be present.
A powerful coffee with a low acidity, this Sumatran coffee is grown at an altitude of about 1000m. With a heavy velvety body and a lingering spicy finish, this coffee boasts rustic earthy flavours complemented with notes of raisin and subtle plum. With a body as full as any premium coffees, Sumatra Mandheling is frequently described as syrupy. Despite a subdued acidity the tastes are complex and intense, and a chocolate sweet flavor often holds earthy undertones. Sumatra coffee captures the wild jungle essence of this tropical Indonesian island. The cashew tree is a tropical evergreen tree native to South America in the genus Anacardium that produces the cashew seed and the cashew apple accessory fruit. The tree can grow as tall as 14 meters, but the dwarf cultivars, growing up to 6 m, prove more profitable, with earlier maturity and greater yields. The cashew seed is commonly considered a snack nut (cashew nut) eaten on its own, used in recipes, or processed into cashew cheese or cashew butter. Like the tree, the nut is often simply called cashew. Cashew Kernel (or: raw cashew kernels, cashew kernels, cashew kernal) is the name of the raw cashew nuts after going through the processing of cashew nuts. After peeling hard and corrosive shell outside, the cashew kernel is revealed. Cashew kernels are usually not eaten raw but cooked or roasted. Used in desserts and also some curries, the roasted kernels are usually eaten as a snack. MOQ: 5 MT Supplied from Tanzania, Vietnam, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.
