Dry coconut copra is the result of sun-drying the white, fleshy interior of coconuts until it becomes copra. With a concentrated nutty flavor, this dried coconut product is commonly used in cooking, baking, and various culinary applications. The drying process enhances the natural coconut aroma, creating a versatile ingredient.
Copra meal is produced from the ripe fruit of the coconut palm. The nut is split and the kernel is removed and dried below 6% moisture. This meal is called copra meal and still contains the oil. It is an excellent weight gain feed that can be used to boost any premix feed.
