Product Application & Core Requirement:
The tubing is intended for use in a medical environment (non-implant). It is supplied non-sterile and is not designed to be sterilized (e.g., not compatible with autoclave, gamma, or EtO). Therefore, the material and process must ensure the highest levels of purity, chemical inertness, and biocompatibility for its intended use.
Target Product Specifications:
• Raw Material: Medical-grade polymer blend. Target: Polyethylene (PE) with 20% Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA). Critical: The specific grade must be certified as USP Class VI compliant and/or meet relevant sections of ISO 10993 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices). Material must be suitable for the intended medical contact without degradation.
