The nutritional value of the proteins contained in the feed is comparable to that of animal proteins. The resulting products retain amino acids, minerals and fiber, which have a beneficial effect on the development and growth of animals and poultry. The content of nutrients in the cake depends on the feedstock, but its approximate composition is as follows: proteins - not less than 32%; fats - 8-15%; minerals - 5-18%; vitamins of group B (riboflavin, thiamine), A, E; pantothenic acid; carotene; a nicotinic acid. An important advantage of sunflower cake is its resistance to mycotoxin contamination.
