that are collected from the clove tree.

Clove bud oils is extracted from the finest quality of Clove buds of the Eugenia caryophyllata trees growing in mid country wet zone in Sri Lanka. Clove buds contains 13 % -17 % of pure essential oils with superior color, refinement, aroma and potency.
Eugenol comprises 72-90% in the Clove bud oil and the compound is most responsible for the aroma of cloves.
Other important essential oil constituents of clove oil include acetyl eugenol, beta-caryophyllene and vanillin, crategolic acid, gallotannic acid, methyl salicylate, eugenin, kaempferol, rhammentin, eugenitin, oleanolic acid, sigmasterol and campesterol.
