The Tire derived Steel or Tire Wire Scrap is a light melting scrap obtained during the shredding and granulation process of used tires. Generally 10% - 20% of the weight of an old passenger car tyre usually consists of steel. An average shredding plant produces about 100-200 MT of steel tyre wire and its quality can vary according to technology, storing and management systems adopted by the producing plants. We can provide tire wire scrap that still contains up to 20% rubber/fiber. This percentage is detected by manual separation test. The material can be loaded loose in 40 HC container. Waste Specification: European Classification: E46 EWC Code: 19.01.02 Basel Code: B10 10 The material is loose steel scrap processed through an incinerating plant for domestic waste followed by magnetic separation, fragmentized into pieces and consisting partly of tin coated steel cans. At a visual inspection, the material is fragmentized, with iron and steel parts, resulting partly cut or in shredded form. The stock appears heterogeneous and contains all kind of cut or dismantled steel parts such as sheets, bars, frames, wires, bolts and other iron/steel household residues. The incinerated scrap is eventually oxidized, due to the thermal and cooling treatments, that the material has been submitted to. The burnt scrap also contains minor slag parts, ash and iron oxide, due to the recovery process. Such components are inherent and adhere to the scrap surface. The total impurities, can be sorted, but not fully removed. The consignment does not contain any type of arms, ammunition, mines, shells, cartridges, radioactive contaminated, or any other explosive material in any form either used or otherwise. The collected stock, is stored in open air, on cemented flooring. Due to the scrap dimensions and the material conditions, this particular scrap, should be carefully evaluated first, by the end users, to confirm its adequate recovery ratio and its suitability to be re-melted in the electric arc furnace. Scrap Steel to be supplied under the present contract shall conform with the steel scrap specifications and standards of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) and SGS INSPECTION will be made at the discharge port after arrival of the vessel at the unloading port and shall be strictly limited to used rails and scrap steel to the standards specifically set out below: a) R50-R60: used long rail steel scrap in compliance with ISRI standard classification R50 (51.67 kg/m), Suitable for re-rolling into bars and shapes. Free from bent and twisted rails, frog, switches, and guard rails, or rails with split rail. b) R65: used long rail steel scrap in compliance with ISRI standard classification R65 (64.72 kg/m), in length 1 & 1,5meters on per bar basis, Suitable for re-rolling into bars and shapes. Free from bent and twisted rails, frog, switches, and guard rails, or rails with split rail. c) Clean scrap without slag, dross, trash, wood, plastic, oily parts, grease, alloy, prohibited goods, whole sets of machine, vehicles, and usable parts for machines, cast iron, motor turning blocks, engine blocks, war and explosive or armor-plated materials, excess rust, corrosion, dust and dirt, mud or wastes and without any harmful impurities and totally free of radioactive contamination and poisonous material and any other materials exceeding the level accepted and allowed by international acceptable norms.

The chemical composition is the standard for R50 & R65 rails, original weight 50 pounds per yard or heavier, 6 meters long and over. Material to be suitable for re-rolling into bars and shapes. Free from bent and twisted Rails, frog, switch and guard rails, rails with split heads and broken flanges. Continuous welded rail may be included provided no weld is over 9 inches from the end of a piece of rail. Free from fluff, non-ferrous inclusions excessive rust and other impurities. Free from war and explosives, shells, cartridges, other arms and ammunitions used or otherwise and any closed containers. Free from any radioactive materials, any harmful chemicals, substances and coatings any organic waste, any other harmful substances. Dirt, dust, rust, fluff and other impurities not allowed over 5%. ISRI-CODES: (27) Rail, steel No.1 â?? Standard section T rails, original weight 50 pounds per yard or heavier, 10 feet long and over. Suitable for re-rolling into bars and shapes. Free from bent and twisted rails, frog, switch and guard rails or rails with split heads and broken flanges.
