Bridge columns attached to the pontoon and the grab mounted below the crane are the main components of the system. The working principle of the system; The grab diving into water with open mouth reaches the bottom of water and closes by rope to get material. Then grab is pulled up with rope drum. Water filled in the grab is waited to flow through the slots and the grab releases the material in hopper. Coarse material is separated from hopper grid and the material passing through the grid is being pre-screened before being transferred to land by belt conveyors on pontoon. The JLCSD-150 Cutter Suction Dredger of steel construction, non self-propelled, dismountable type, is able to berth and dredge at any waters both in the coastal area and inland rivers, with similar conditions to that in navigation area “A” or below the “A”-line specified in code for inland river steel engineering ship manufacture of P.R.China. The dredger can be used to excavate and transport cohesive sediment below the class ? specified in code for dredging engineering construction technique issued by Ministry of Water Resources(MWR) of P.R.China. In the course of technical designing, we have considered special requirements for local tropical climate conditions such as meteorological and waters distributing state etc. It’s hull consists of a main pontoon and two side pontoons, which is to be easy to dismantle or mount for transportation by road, rail or water, and is to be easy to reassemble at project site.The engines and dredge pump are located in the center pontoon,the 2 side pontoons serve as fuel bunkers,ballast tanks and storage tanks. The dredger is powered by diesel engines. The main diesel engine is to drive the dredge pump, and in the free part of the engine, one set of power distributor is equipped, to supply power for all other equipments such as cutter, swing and ladder winches, and the spud rams etc. The spacious control cabin is ergonomically designed with 360 degree view. All the operation buttons, swifts, indicators, gauges are equipped on the control desk. Only two operators can control all the dredger in the operation room. The dredger is painted by 4 layers of marine paint to protect from the corrosion. The ZINC anode can be used to give better anti-corrosion function.
These dredgers are highly flexible in use. The modular structure and tight design allow the dredgers to work even in shallow river and waterways. Different arrangements of sand pumps and cutters make sure the dredgers can work in different circumstances like sand , stones, mud , etc. In container or bulk ship.
