Basil Essential Oil emits a warm, sweet, freshly floral and crisply herbaceous scent that is further characterized as airy, vibrant, uplifting, and reminiscent of the scent of licorice. In aromatherapy, Sweet Basil Essential Oil is reputed to stimulate, clarify, calm, fortify, energize and uplift the mind.
It is also known as soup root. Parsley or Petroselinum crispum is mainly an herb, which is traditionally not much accepted in India, but it has acquired popularity only recently in urban areas due to global influence. Celery seeds or ajmoda is a wonderful digestive herb, works amazingly well in treating gastrointestinal problems such as indigestion, bloating, flatulence, abdominal cramps and regularise bowel functions. Some of the healing properties of celery seeds are used in treating Kapha conditions.
Lavandin essential oil, while similar to Lavender, is not a true lavender. It is a cross between lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) which grows at higher altitudes and spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia) which grows lower on the hillsides. It has a very sweet and floral aroma similar to "true" Lavender.
Vetiver oil is quite fragrant, with a distinctive sharp and earthy scent you may recognize from men's cologne. Vetiver essential oil is distilled from the vetiver plant's roots, which are aged before being soaked in water. The highly concentrated oil that is released is then skimmed off the top of the water.
Yarrow Essential Oil is dark blue in color and is similar in hue to that of German Chamomile Essential Oil and Blue Tansy Essential Oil due to its chamazulene content. Chamazulene is a sesquiterpene that exhibits anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. It is sometimes known as Blue Yarrow Essential Oil
Avocado oil is the natural oil pressed from the pulp of an avocado. Almost 70% of avocado oil consists of heart-healthy oleic acid, a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid ( 1 , 2 , 3 ). This fatty acid is also the main component of olive oil and is believed to be partly responsible for its health benefits.
