- Obtain Importer Registration: Secure an IEC (Import–Export Code) from DGFT.
- FSSAI Approval: Get food-safety clearance and any necessary quarantine or phytosanitary certificates.
- Place Order & L/C: Issue a Purchase Order and open a Letter of Credit with your bank.
- Shipping & Documentation: Arrange shipment, prepare Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway
- Bill, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate.
- Customs Clearance: File the Import General Manifest (IGM), pay customs duty, and complete FSSAI inspection.
- Inland Transport: Transfer goods from port to warehouse for distribution.
