Thanks for your question. I believe you've answered it for yourself already. Yes, the port of destination is chosen by the buyer, however many buyers simply list the country under the port category for which clarification is needed.
Please confirm the same with the buyer upon first correspondence to avoid any confusion in the proceedings.
