This is the question practically experienced a lot and missed some business.
For the purpose of Export stuffing into consignment to abroad whether it is FCL or HCL for dry products very issue and easy if we follow customs rules and with required papers. However export to other countries is NIGHTMARE for exporters those who are doing perishable consignments and Medicines who are totally depend on Reefers allotment and booking , which is inevitable for most of the small and Merchant Exporters, though they are enrolled as members of EUs, EZs, EPC, FIEO and other agencies. If this issue is being taken up with the knowledge of Govt of India, our export growth will further more flourish and exchequer will shoot up.

Better Consult the CHA always. Now a days, due to the mechanisation/Digitalisation, there are many apps which gives the Rough Idea of Freight Costing for LCL, FCL etc. Eg, Cogoport site is helpful in getting the reference cost from port to port. Other to and from addendum cost in actuals, can be known from CHA s only.
